Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to play and when I can tie in our learning it helps my students master the skills longer. Melissa and Doug create wonderful toys and items that allow the students to pretend to play in activities that they see in everyday life.

Pretend play can be used to help students count, write, label, sound out words, use social skills and utilize cognitive skills.

These items will be used throughout the year for multiple stations and centers. Students will have the chance to play and practice their skills daily.
