This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how passionate and dedicated my students are, especially when it comes to esports. They work together as a team, strategizing, communicating, and showing incredible problem-solving skills both in and out of the game. They are not just learning how to play— they are learning how to collaborate, think critically, and manage their time effectively.

The batteries, computer mice, and controllers I’m requesting will make a transformative difference in their learning.

Having the right equipment ensures that our team can compete at their best without interruption. Batteries will ensure we don't experience mid-game failures, and quality controllers will provide more reliable performance. These resources are essential for maintaining focus during practice sessions and competitions, which will help them continue improving their skills and teamwork.

My goal for this project is to ensure that every student has access to the tools they need to succeed in our esports program. We want to give them the best possible environment for growth—one that matches their passion and commitment. By providing these resources, we can increase participation, enhance engagement, and provide them with the opportunity to reach their full potential.

What makes my students special is their unwavering determination. They approach challenges with enthusiasm, and they understand the value of perseverance. Whether they’re competing or learning from setbacks, they never give up, and that resilience is what makes them stand out. Supporting them with the right equipment will only help amplify their drive to succeed.
