Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it.

These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

February celebrates many things: Black History, Valentines Day, and Presidents Day. With the election behind us, and a new president stepping into the White House, the students want to learn about the presidency.

The presidency and White House are important aspects of living in America!

With these books, students will learn about past presidents, the White House, historical figures, and our nations government. They'll learn about the history of voting and famous landmark locations. Now the time for students to learn about about the important role government plays in all our lives.
