Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our SLJ students are highly motivated for a post secondary plan after they graduate. Lots of them sacrifice their lunch period to have extra time to be able to work on supplemental essays, personal statements and more.
The snacks will be brain food, the bean bag chairs will help create a more comfortable work space, and the supplies are for future painting projects to help ease their mental health stress.
My students are very dedicated and have a whole lot of initiative. I am genuinely impressed with how much securing a successful future means to them.
