Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are ones who define the word resiliency. They live in low socioeconomic communities, which results in limited access to resources. However, this does not have a negative effect on their abilities intellectually, socially, or inter-personally.

We take all of the bad and turn it into good.

The challenges my students face on a daily basis give them a unique view of the world. We overcome these challenges together through our classroom's ability to work as one community.

It is amazing to watch these fifth graders grow to become the leaders they were born to be!

My Project

This is the first year back in person after this new normal and I want to send my students away for winter break with some amazing holiday presents that they can be proud they worked hard to get!

Help spread some joy to some deserving students!

Now for my present; being a teacher means being on your feet all day, so when we get the chance to sit, it is a privilege. My current chair just had the left arm fall off, so I feel like it is time to upgrade! This chair will be help when working at planning and in small groups with my kiddos, as well as, make my classroom look even neater!
