My Project

Objective: Students will understand the principles of PBIS and learn to interpret achievement data, recognizing how positive behavior contributes to academic success. By the end of the lesson, students should be able to set personal behavioral and academic goals and track their progress over time.

How Students Use the iPad:

1. Introduction to PBIS Concepts:

Students start by using interactive apps on the iPad to learn the basics of PBIS, including understanding expected behaviors, positive reinforcement, and the impact of behavior on learning.

Engaging animations, quizzes, and interactive tutorials help students understand the "why" behind positive behavior.

2. Data Tracking and Goal Setting:

Students will use a designated app or digital dashboard to view their achievement data (such as grades, attendance, and behavioral reports). The iPad’s interface makes it easy for students to visualize their data with graphs and charts.

With my guidance, students set goals related to behavior and academic performance. This goal-setting feature helps students reflect on their progress, promoting accountability and self-motivation.

3. PBIS Rewards and Recognition:

Using the iPad, students can view the rewards they earn through positive behavior, accessing digital badges, points, or certificates. This creates a sense of ownership and motivation to demonstrate positive behaviors consistently.

4. Reflection and Analysis:

The iPad enables students to periodically review their behavior and achievement data, comparing it against their goals.

Through guided reflection activities, students will analyze their progress and identify patterns in their behavior that affect their academic outcomes.
