Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to explore and learn through the power of play. My classroom is their first exposure to school, and all of my students come in ready to learn and explore their world. We teach social-emotional skills, classroom language, and early cognitive skills. This project will allow my students to learn about the beauty of Earth Day and the importance of recycling, reducing, and reusing. This will also help me teach them about being resourceful and producing less waster at school and at home! Moreover, this printer and ink would allow me to create the array of visuals all of my students need in order for them to grasp the material best. We will be able to print Earth Day visuals and see the ideas of reducing, reusing, and recycling in color.

My students have varying degrees of abilities, and these books, toys, and printer and ink will allow all of my students to learn about being green regardless of their capabilities.
