This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In September my classroom door will open and welcome children for the very first time to preschool. Glue, glitter, pom poms, paint, popsicle sticks, and so much more, would provide my students with the opportunity to explore and learn about the world around them. Having the opportunity to create art projects that are self directed and full of color will help to introduce and welcome these children to the world of art. Students will gain confidence and good self esteem as they begin to navigate around the classroom and make new friends for the very first time.
