Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher in a low-income/high-poverty school. My students face several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My students have all been identified with special needs such as autism, intellectual disabilities, developmentally delayed, language impairment, and deaf and hard of hearing. This upcoming school year will look very different. Our district is starting the school year via distance learning. I have created a project that will help my special education preschool students. I am looking to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences both in the classroom and at home.
My Project
Distance learning has caused me to look for additional resources online. I am so fortunate to have come across Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards! I have been purchasing resources from Teachers Pay Teachers for years. Having a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with my students on all different academic levels. The quality of digital content through Teachers Pay Teachers is unlike any other content! There are so many resources that I know would be useful for my students in-person and virtually.
