Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items requested in this project would be added to our snack rotation that we use throughout the school year. Unfortunately our preschool program is not included on the breakfast that the remainder of the school receives and so our students often come to school with hungry bellies. We would utilize these snack daily and our students are allowed to eat as much as they need to feel full.

Feeling full and having their basic needs met means they are ready to learn and use their brilliant little minds to grow.

My goal for this project is to help cushion our snack cupboard that is drained throughout the year and make sure there is a variety of snacks on hand at all times. My students are so special to me and come to school eager to learn!
