Preschool Sensory Exploration

My Project

I believe that play is the best way for young children to learn and explore. It is their most important work! I am blessed to teach many different children in my preschool classroom. I have students on various developmental levels with diverse needs. I have seen the benefits of sensory exploration in my personal life as well as educationally. I would love to bring a designated area to my classroom to promote sensory exploration! I have several students that are still currently at the developmental stage of exploring materials before they start to purposefully play. This area would allow them to explore the way light illuminates, changes, and enhances their play.
