Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning for students with learning differences can be challenging and overwhelming. However, incorporating other means of learning through play, creating, and hands on activities can make their learning fun and meaningful.

Please support my project in helping me provide my preschoolers with supplies to support their learning as they work on their speech, communication and social skills.

The playdough and playdough tools, magnet tiles, Cootie game, and reusable sticker book will be ideal for encouraging their social interaction and use of their communication skills while engaging in turn taking, and sharing ideas as they enjoy creating. The magnetic fishing game, lacing shapes and buttons, and alphabet manipulatives will help to practice speech/sounds and increase their number of trial practice in order to increase the students' sound production, which leads to being better understood. My students enjoy being rewarded and the the incentive stickers will help me provide a way to reward and motivate their effort.

My goal for this project is to provide my preschoolers with learning differences a greater variety of material to motivate and help expand their way of learning. Thank you for your generosity in supporting my project and helping me bring these amazing resources to my students' learning.
