My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources above basic school supplies. One of the biggest challenges my families face is providing extra help and opportunities for their children.

We need to get each student the necessary support to be successful in the classroom.

Many of our students live in multi-family member homes, foster homes, other family members and friends' homes, and hotels or motels. My students need support as a whole child.

My Project

My students live in an area where it is hard for parents to provide extra resources for their children. My students need snacks while at school to keep them healthy and whole. These snacks will help students stay engaged and learn while in the classroom.

My students need different options throughout the day to help keep them whole, engaged, and ready to learn.

Popcorn will be offered throughout the day when students need a little extra pick-me-up to get through. The snack will provide the student with a way to continue to stay focused and learn.
