My Project
Our gardens will be used indoors and outdoor throughout the year to discuss seasonal crops, sustainability, and healthy living. We will discuss composting, and how to lessen waste in our communities. We plan to share our food and herbs with our preschool families with recipes to help create a home/school connection as well. We need a AquaSprouts Garden and several raised bed gardens.
We will discuss the different types of gardens, such as classic soil and water gardens, aquaponic, and small herb gardens.
The kids will be given the opportunity for hands-on learning. Helping plant the seeds, water, and harvest the things we grow together.
