My Students

Hi! My name is Amanda Nalwasky and I am a Pre-k teacher at the Richmond Pre-k Center! I have been an early childhood teacher for 13 years and it is truly a passion of mine. I love to see the children learn and grow as the year progresses. One thing that is imperative in a pre-k class is a printer. Visuals are so important to help our young minds learn. All of my students are between the ages of 3 and 5 and many are English Language Learners. I want to help make their first school experience as enriching as it can be! I know that by using donors choose that this will help make it possible! Thank you!

My Project

This printer will help me make my preschool classroom a print rich environment which is essential for learning in early childhood. I will be able to help my students become life long learners and acquire the skills necessary to build a love for learning. This printer will help me teach them how to write their name, learn the letters of the alphabet, and numbers. It also will help me connect to their home by providing pictures of their families and cultures around my classroom. Also, providing pictures of different emotions really help children to acclimate to the classroom. Your help is greatly appreciated!
