This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Block play offers a rich opportunity for early math and science learning and the development of social, emotional, language, motor and cognitive skills

We will be reading and learning about zoo animals this month and these animals will give my preschoolers the chance to interact with these animals and hopefully visit our local zoo soon.

Some of the other block toys are community characters and matching vehicles. I want the children to have the chance to interact with these characters and have fun while imagining being a firefighter, doctor or pilot.
