My Project

In preschool, we work with different mediums through art and play to help students grow skills that will follow them throughout their lifetimes. Especially in a inclusive classroom, art can be a free outlet for all students to work on skill such as fine motor activities, creative communication, and social skills like sharing, focusing, and playing with friends. Art helps us integrate subjects like reading, writing, math, and social skills so that school is fun and exciting to be at. Students of all different abilities will become independent and the different types of art materials will help with incorporate students who may need accommodations and sensory need fulfilled to access the art.

With these art supplies, my students will be able to further access art to deepen their growth and learning in preschool!

The jumbo crayons will support all students but especially those students who need more support with their fine motor skills. The stick tempura paints will cater towards the students in my classroom who have sensory differences and struggle to touch or interact with liquid paint. All the art supplies will be used for all students but will benefit those students in my classroom who need a little bit of extra support.
