Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special in so many ways. They are clever, funny, and unique in their own individual way. They are eager to learn and enjoy hands on activities. My collaborative classroom consists of students with Autism, Speech and/or Language Impairments, English Language Learners and typically developing. We are a unique bunch!

Our little arborists will have a WOW learning experience building their own birdhouses and observing the butterfly cycle.

The fruit, animal, and tree stickers will provide fun activities during small groups. Students will learn what fruits grow on trees and what animals live on trees. My goals are that our students learn through fun and intentional activities using the materials requested. My goals are that our students remember what they are learning and ask questions and make comments that will increase their language and cognitive development and comprehension.
