Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a teacher, I am astounded by the accomplishments the students I work with make, regardless of the adversity they must overcome.

As much as they would like to, many of my students are unable to come with folders or even pencils.

Many of the classroom materials we need to succeed are purchased by me.

These classroom materials will help them have durable folders for work in class, and a folder for transporting papers such as homework and notices to and from school. The dry erase board supplies will help me in teaching not only whole group, but small group instruction as well. The ink cartridges will allow me to be able to print classwork and homework, along with reference sheets for their math tool kits. The three ring binders will house the reference sheets, and other materials for their math tool kits in an organized way. The lamination sheets will allow me to display math vocabulary, student work, and items to display on bulletin boards that are durable.

I want to ensure that the students I work with will have the basic tools they need to succeed, and the items I need to provide them with quality instruction that accommodates all learners.
