Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are passionate, lively and dedicated to their own education. Students are coming from low-income settings, with minimal support for education. Our classroom can use the materials necessary for a successful social distancing experience. Students in our school are enthusiastic about learning, but we lack the resources to support this environment. Our students come to school daily without pencils, notebooks or even book bags half of the time, we need organization to support them.

My Project

With these items, my students will have the ability to keep their items separate from each other while keeping organized at the same time. In addition, my students often come to school with no pencils, and to ensure that we are not sharing, we will supply them. The same goes for the headphones. We will each have a pair to use with our devices. These supplies will help keep our distance and prevent the sharing of items that can potentially spread germs. Can you please help us get these supplies we need?
