My Students
In the short time, we've gotten to know each other, my class has quickly become a community always looking out for one another and cheering each other on.
I have the privilege of teaching and enriching 32 of the most hardworking, passionate and sharp second graders.
They are filled with energy and a desire for learning every moment they are in school. Many of my students have come from different countries. 19 of my 32 students are also learning English as a new language. Overall, I have a very diverse group of students with different abilities, all sharing the same enthusiasm for learning.
My Project
My class is always very eager to learn and dedicated to achieving success. They come in every day with bright smiles on their faces ready for another day of exploring in second grade.
However without the proper classroom supplies and books it becomes difficult to achieve our goals.
A classroom becomes a child's second home and it is essential we take care of it.Please help me obtain the necessary materials in order to maintain an environment suitable for learning. In addition, the love for reading comes from interesting books and promoting literacy and therefore having these key books in our library will engage students in literary.
