This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember using the latest technology in school?

My students live in the inner city.

They pass sights and sounds that no child should have to pass, on a daily basis, simply traveling to and from school. Many students deal with difficult situations, but they have a positive attitude when they come to school.

My Project

My students need PC repair tools, canless air, a USB charging station, an ethernet switch, and a Blu-ray writer. These PC repair tools will be used in my computer programming and computer science class. We will explore basic repairs such as RAM, hard drives, and disc drives. The USB charging station will be used to charge devices such as iPads, that are used for student presentations and instruction. We will use this Blu-ray writer to backup our project and other data for safe keeping. We will use this electric canless air system to keep our devices in top shape and free of dust. The eSATA bracket will enable us to connect eSATA devices to our workstation for easy data transfer and hard drive diagnostics.

Please, for many of my students, school is just another thing they have to do until they're old enough to drop out or finally graduate.

Many don't look towards college or technical school primarily because they don't know what's out there. These tools will really help. Consider giving my students a real chance in the world.
