My Project

These are daily-use items that will be used regularly and repeatedly. From plastic bags to triangle crayons, to emotional check-in chart, and everything in between. The hanging pocket chart will be set up for a sticker library for an academic incentive that I am planning in my classroom. The class job chart is a better and bigger visual for my students to be actively responsible for keeping the classroom tidy. Crayon boxes are always a high-need item as well as sketch books.

I want to give my students anything they need to continue growing their brains and provide well-deserved incentives for the great growth they have already accomplished.

We have an emotion check every morning, but with the emotion pocket chart, we can see it throughout the day and check in more. I also want to give them pens, so that they learn it is okay to make a mistake. I have some little lessons that I want them to provide a response and cannot erase. I love my job, and I love my students. I am always thinking of ways to improve what we are doing in the classroom or to provide a lasting experience. I bounce ideas around with my students to have their input and to see their reactions.

They have ownership of their learning, so I like to give them some say in the planning as well. We brainstorm, and then I plan how it will look. This project is another one of our brainstorming sessions.
