My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions!
They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! Each day, they come to school ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically.
Our school is nestled in the heart of Brooklyn, East New York.
Each child in my classroom loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate various learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met right where they are! They are indeed an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners excited and ready to learn each year!
I am requesting a variety of individually wrapped snacks, such as Goldfish crackers, chips, and fruit snacks for my students. Hunger can distract students from learning, but having a snack for everyone will help keep my students focused during our lessons. Snacks can help encourage concentration and re-energize tired students. It always brings a BIG smile to their faces when they receive snacks. For students who don't have snacks at home, snacks will be sent home with them. These snacks will help me make sure my students are always full and ready to learn!
