Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My PreK students enjoy learning through play. By providing these hands-on materials to them, they can develop fine motor skills, pre-academic skills, and early literacy skills. My students love creating their masterpieces with play-doh, in our art area is where they can really get creative! They also enjoy playing in our class sensory bin, which we like to switch out every week to provide the students an opportunity to explore different materials. Creating words in our writing center is also a popular activity, the addition of letter stamps to create words I am sure will be celebrated. I know my students will be very excited to make new projects with our new classroom materials!
