Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our PreK students enjoy learning about all things related to outer space, including our planets, astronauts, and rocket ships! They ask all sorts of questions like “What do our planets look like?”, “What do astronauts do?”, “How do they get up there?”

My goal is to provide my students with varying hands-on space theme-related materials, which can support imaginative play and spark critical thinking questions and conversations.

These materials can be utilized during many classroom activities such as art area, small groups, house area, block area, library, and our sensory bins.
