This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
These items will make a difference in the way my students learn and grow. Children need a clean environment to learn, and the Clorox Wipes will keep our classroom fresh and clean. The other learning materials namely, the beginning sounds puzzle will help develop phonemic awareness which will help my students gain a good start to learning how to read. The dry erase markers will let my students explore and begin to write their names, alphabets, numbers, and journal writing. We will create creative art projects using glue sticks. Giving our students a head start in their learning is very important. And using simple addition and subtraction games will prepare my PreK class for kindergarten. My school is a social economic disadvantaged school. Title1. Our students really need these items. Our children are happy, funny, smart, and eager to learn. We just need help in getting them the items they need.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
