My Students

Our Title I school has been closed down and there is no traditional teaching going on because of Covid-19. My students are too young to benefit from online teaching. I want to be able to put work in their hands. Quarantine should not mean that they don't learn. We just need the right materials.

My Project

My little ones are kids who are just starting out in school. They need hands-on materials and worksheets so that they can practice coloring, writing and fine motor skills like cutting. A computer device cannot teach you these skills. You actually have to have crayons, scissors and pencils in hand to learn them. These materials will help to do just that. For this reason, I need ink for my printer and paper as well, so that I can print out packets of materials that will help them to learn throughout the rest of the school year.

Can you imagine PREK kids learning to write and cut through the computer?

Well, I don't want it to be that way for my students. These materials (ink and paper) will help make learning a bit more reasonable for my PREK little ones.
