My Students

I am a media specialist at a small, rural, Title I School in South Carolina, where eighty-three percent of students are on free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school population is made up of approximately 400 students.

They enjoy learning, reading and being open to creativity.

My Project

Providing safety to our students is very important to me. With Covid-19 still rapid in our country, it is important to taking as many precautions as possible to make sure our students are safe in the school's media center. I would love for our media center to have sanitizer stations, sanitizing equipment for books and materials, and sanitizer to help keep our students safe when entering the media center and receiving materials from the media center. My goal is to create a safe environment for the the students at my school.
