My Students

I am a media specialist at a small, rural, Title I school in South Carolina, where eighty-three percent of students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school population is made up of approximately 400 students.

They enjoy learning, reading and being open to creativity.

My Project

With the rapid spread of Covid-19 in our country, it is important to make as many safety precautions in our school's media center as possible. Last year, we were blessed with an air purifier by a donor. The air purifier helps circulate clean air in the media center, which is another safety precaution for our students.

To ensure that the purifier is circulating clean air, filters and UV bulbs are needed to replaced the old ones.

It It is my goal and duty to make the school's media center as safe as I possibly can for our students.
