This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The items requested in this project may not directly be in the hands of our pre-school students, but will impact our classrooms ability to run smoothly. The Astro Bright colored card stock paper will be used to make locker tags for their lockers. The brown colored card stock will allow my students to make art projects with paper that is the color of their skin tone. The Sharpies will be used to label many things throughout the school year, including art projects and classroom door decor. Although this project may not impact students that are with me for this school year, it will impact many students in the years to come.
The beginning of the school year is extremely busy and what better way to help us start off smoothly than basic essentials.
My students are always eager to learn and having their first experience in pre-school start off on a great foot is such an awesome feeling!
