Pre-K's Popping Interest Areas!

Help me give my students a classroom environment that supports their learning. We are in need of items that will support learning in interest areas. The most expensive item is a sand and water table.

My Project

The Sand and Water area is an important part of our school program. Both sand and water are natural materials for learning.

My preschool children really enjoy playing in the Sand and Water area.

When children pour water into measuring cups they are exploring math concepts. When they are adding items such as marbles, feathers, or stones to see whether they sink or float they are becoming scientists!

As students play in Sand and Water area, I ask questions, to focus their thinking on their discoveries.

When my students have the opportunity to play with sand and water on a regular basis it helps their minds and bodies develop in a relaxing and enjoyable way.
