This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Pre-Kindergarten students love to explore, touch, feel, and wonder about everything around them. They are curious about all the things they see and hear. They are in their little world where they do not recognize the concept of self-control.

Their reasoning capability is a work in progress that needs to be mold day by day.

My prekindergarten students come from a high poverty community that encounters economic challenges every day. About 95 % of my students receive free lunch.

My students deserve a good quality education where they can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Unfortunately, due to a budget deficit, the school is not able to provide all the materials needed to ease the learning of my students.

My Project

My students love to use the iPads we have in the classroom to explore and learn. Other times, they use them to calm down when things don’t come out the way they expected.

They are encouraged to use the iPads daily to boost their creativity and imagination besides learning to take care of school property.

The iPads we have in our classroom need protective cases to ensure that future students will also benefit from their use. Most of the time, my pre-kindergarten students are careful when using the iPads, but considering how young they are, accidents occur when you least expect them. To protect the life of our iPads, it will be very beneficial to tuck them in a protective case. My students will also benefit from developing their fine motor skill with the use of play-dough and Mr. Potatoes Head toys.
