Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a new teacher to District 22, there are many resources in the classroom that I believe could benefit and enhance the quality of my students' Pre-K experience. A color printer and laminator helps with creating lasting projects and stories for our students. In this list you will find craft supplies, tools for scientific exploration, letter and number practice, and sensory toys to help our young learners learn emotional self-regulation. A collection of storybooks to help represent each of our students is also included.

Each of these items will further increase my students' hands on play-based learning.

Pre-K is a time to learn through enriching and enjoyable play, so please support me in creating a classroom environment that is exciting, equitable, and educational.
