My Students

My classroom is part of a Head Start Program in a Headstart through 8th-grade school in Miami. I serve up to 17 children, with inadequate technology resources to reach the students' full potential.

In funding this printer and ink project, these children will have access to print outs of their daily activities and make much more progress in their learning growth.

Each student has great potential for learning, and this project will enhance their ability to excel. My students are low-income children who are eager to learn every day.

My Project

Our Pre-K classroom needs an all in one color printer for our students to print out their sight words, shapes, as well as the results of their hard work. If this printer project is funded, our students will have unlimited access to age-appropriate lessons, that they could print out. We would also need extra ink cartridges as there would be numerous pages of materials printed to accommodate every child.

Also, with a colored multifunctional printer, I will be able to create and print out dynamic and fun instructional materials that are not readily available in hard copy.

In the past and currently, my students are limited because there are no hard copies or insufficient materials to share. We will no longer have to make numerous copy requests to the main office every day.
