Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a public school teacher serving children from low income families and some of them come from shelters around the school and we are also title 1 school. Students in Pre- K play in different centers and develop social emotional skills. Some of them live in temporary housing near the school and until they get permanent placement. They live in a neighborhood that doesn't provide them all amenities . Some of them come from single family home and emotionally disturbed.

My Project

Students are unable to write and draw without required materials. They would love to have lot of supplies to complete given assignment in Zoom classroom. The happiness in pre- K students can be reviled when they show their colorful work product in zoom classroom by sharing with other students and teachers. I can only do if every student has accesses to markers and supplies they need. Every child can be successful if we provide amenities needed for becoming an excellent student. I can't do this without help from noble donors.
