Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with 17 amazing and diverse Pre-K students in Brooklyn, NY. They absolutely love creating art and learning through art in our classroom. Learning through art allows a multisensory learning experience that truly helps them understand academic and creative thinking concepts.

Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, we have run out of certain art supplies and are quickly running out of others!

We need various art supplies such as paint, glue, mod podge, watercolor paper, cardstock, contact paper, collage materials, mounting supplies, etc. so I can incorporate art into their daily center time and into our upcoming learning themes. I also included some books so we can specifically learn about drawing skills.

With your help, we can have the materials we need to allow my student's inner "Picasso" out! We thank you in advance for any help you can give!
