Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

These learning materials will allow our students to have a hands-on learning experience! Students will be able to use these materials to grow as learners in our new preschool classroom! There are a variety of items we've added that will help our children show off their creative learning. We are working on learning letters, shapes, colors, numbers, and more! Teaching with games allows students to connect to the learning in different ways. I am also shifting to also teaching reading this year. We are working to make great shifts to implement practices involved around the Science of Reading.

The reading manipulatives will help those struggling with phonemic awareness and conceptual understandings in math.

Whenever any type of manipulative can be used, students are more engaged, and we see lots of success. Thanks for supporting my students!
