This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are 3-5 year old children who enter the classroom each school day full of wonder, excitement, and curiosity! Every morning my students come into the classroom and work with individual sensory play materials and activities to get them ready for the day.

Hands on leaning creates connections in a young student's cognitive development.

Problem solving, exploration, and creativity are all benefits to sensory activities. I am looking forward to creating new sensory learning stations for the children in my classroom with these busy boards and materials! The kids will be engaged in hands-on learning that is fun and building critical developmental skills.
