Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with 20 wonderful and inquisitive Pre-Kindergarten students in a very diverse school in Brooklyn, New York. We have children from many different cultures in our class and children with many special abilities.

Our Pre-K students love to learn new things daily!

For many of these children, it is their first year in school. They are learning about themselves, others, school rules, routines, and many new concepts in various subjects. They have many opportunities to explore what kind of learner they are and learn concepts in many different ways!

My Project

Learning through technology is essential in this day and age in classrooms. New technology helps children will multiple learning styles and abilities learn in a way that works for them. We would love to have these tablets in our classroom to make a technology center for the children.

Having tablets that have educational games and progress tracking would really help my students learn!

Many kids don't have the opportunity to learn through technology at home so having this technology in school is essential! With these tablets and headphones, I plan to teach the children how to use technology to learn new academic concepts and allow them to use it daily in timed sessions. The children will learn math, science, social studies, and reading skills using these tablets. Please consider donating to having new technology in our classroom. Thank you!
