Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to add iPads into our classroom so that more kids can have access to the individualized learning games. They will also use Apple Pencils to work on their fine motor skills.They will use the apple headsets so as not to disturb the other children in the classroom as they work on their iPad Pro. We can use these every day in small group and one-on-one instruction to assess learning skills in a fun way. The Apple keyboards will be essential in helping the children navigate their iPad with their little fingers.
Having these iPads will allow my students to have choice in their learning in a gaming format, that keeps them engaged and learning all concepts.
With these iPads, my students can practice skills in a fun and non-overwhelming way. They get to have fun practicing math, reading, fine motor skills, and coding.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
