My Students

Each day my students participate in gross and fine motor development activities. We use many physical education techniques to enhance the development of students at an early age. Students are learning to love physical activities and engage in different areas of play. My students participate in Physical Education activities that strengthen their skills in movement, balance, and fine & gross motor skills. My students come from diverse backgrounds and are at various skill levels, some are very athletic where as others have never learned to skip or run. Students engage in various activities to demonstrate fair-play, respect, balance, coordination and combine motor skills with and without equipment.

My Project

I hope that my students will be able to learn, practice and play different team sports and games. This equipment will help me create and plan activities and skill practice that will develop and fine tune skills like kicking, passing, striking, and teamwork.

These materials will provide an opportunity for teaching fundamental and sports-specific skill development, and opportunities to apply those skills to game play in school and further into students' communities.

I teach to empower my students' physical abilities through practice and play; while also supporting skills like respect, fair play, and communication are a part of the classroom.
