My Students

This is my third year teaching Pre-K in a NYC public school. I have 13 students this year! I have eight boys and five girls. I hope that each of them will arrive eager to learn and so excited to begin their school career. Pre-K is the beginning and I believe it is never too early to teach children how to be explorers, discoverers, and creators. It is through play that children learn best. When a student is engaged they learn and grow. I would really appreciate your support in getting these items and helping to make my students’ first school year, one to remember. I want to continue to instill a love of learning, imaginative play, and risk-taking that will last each of them a lifetime!

My Project

Pre-K is the beginning of a child's school experience. It is where they fall in love with learning. I want my children to fall in love with exploring, discovering, and creating. It is through a hands on experience that children will grow to become the future we need. I am requesting, supplies that will foster this love through art, science, math, expressive language and ELA. The rubbing plates will help students to learn through art and provide a hands on learning experience. The STEM Roller Coaster will help students to work together and problem solve. The magnetic math tins are a perfect addition to my math center. It provides the students with an opportunity to learn shapes, measurement and counting.
