Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a new carpet for my classroom. The carpet also known as the Meeting Area is the Hub of an early childhood classroom. It is where morning meetings, lessons, storytime, and the block center take place.

This will be my first time teaching Pre-K and the room I am moving to does not have a carpet.

The carpet is the most important part of the classroom since this is where the class will learn, sing, and play together. I would love to give my students a warm welcome to Pre-K and I think that having a welcoming meeting area will help to make this possible.
