This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me fund my classroom with floor cushions, books and toys that will spark curiosity, build confidence, and enhance the development of important language skills. These resources will help our Dual Language Learners in learning the target language while engaging in meaningful play opportunities. These supplies will also help me plan instruction in a fun and interactive way to strengthen students' literacy development in both languages. Due to the budget cuts, it has become difficult to acquire important resources that will enhance teaching, learning, and accessibility to equal resources for all students across New York City.
