Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students in my pre-k class love the freedom of art expression. During their planning/free choice time, students are allowed to create opened activities using a variety of materials of their choice. The requested materials will be placed in labeled drawers and containers with pictures of the items for easy selection of a planned activity. Students can be creative using the ink pads, watercolors, and blotters to make artwork fun through creative representation.

While using the art materials the students will be building up fine motor skills to strengthen their hands, leading to future writing activities.

My unique class is made up of typically developing students and students identified with special needs. This group comes together to support each other's learning gains during the most important time of brain development.
