Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students all get along and love to be with each other, but we definitely need a lot of help setting up our room to be a great place to walk into everyday. We are in the South Bronx and have a great mix of ethnicities in our room.

My students are fun, energetic four-year-olds that come in ready to learn everyday.

They love to explore and discover new things. For the majority of my students, this is their first exposure to school and I really want to make it a place they run to everyday and are eager to come back when they leave.

With your help these great kids will have a great start and loving education and learning.

My Project

Our project will go right into the hands of my very curious very excited students! It is so exciting to think that these children can have all these things to learn with thanks to wonderful people who care about them. This will allow the children to explore, learn, and love their environment.

Nothing says fun in Pre-K like Playdough.

I can not wait for these little hands to use this playdough to mold their letters, shapes, and numbers into life!!! We will use our bean bags for comfy reading, and the rest of our things we will use for our active minds. Our classroom will be bright, full of energy, and buzzing with learning and joy. It will be great.
