Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The pencils, erasers, bracelets, and stuffs are for a classroom store. My students are coming from many different countries and need a tangible way to practice using American money. The goal of this project is for the students to become proficient with identifying the coins, counting money, and giving change back. Students will earn classroom bucks to spend at the school store. They will take turns being the cashier and running the store. This project is special because it will help my students acclimate to the United States and create more confidence being in the community.
