Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about students is their incredible curiosity and enthusiasm.

My students bring a fresh perspective to learning and are constantly exploring new ideas.

This energy is truly inspiring and drives me to find the best ways to support their growth.

Dry Erase Markers:

Visual Learning: These markers make it easy to illustrate concepts visually. Whether it's drawing diagrams, working through math problems, or brainstorming ideas, the visual aspect helps students grasp complex ideas more effectively. Seeing their thoughts mapped out in front of them can make abstract concepts more concrete.

Puzzles

1. Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Puzzles challenge students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills. Whether it's a jigsaw puzzle, a logic puzzle, or a word puzzle, these activities engage their brains in a way that promotes analytical thinking and perseverance.

2. Hands-On Learning: Puzzles provide a hands-on approach to learning. They often require manipulation and exploration, which can be particularly beneficial for kinesthetic learners. This active involvement can make abstract concepts more tangible and easier to understand.

3. Collaboration and Communication: Many puzzles are designed for group work, which encourages collaboration. Students learn to communicate their ideas, negotiate solutions, and work together to achieve a common goal. These social skills are just as important as academic skills.
