The students in my school represent an ethnically and educationally diverse community. I am a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
My school serves students in grades PreK-8 and provides rigorous academics, hardworking teachers, and a safe learning environment.
Sometimes, we need extra materials to help our students learn in a different way due to the various stages of development and academic needs.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my students learning because some of my students come to in person school every day, and we need some extra materials to help keep them safe from COVID.
My students need some basic PPE that can be used to keep the students safe while they are in school, and we can focus on learning, instead of worrying about safety.
My students need Reusable Cloth Face Masks with an Elastic Strap, in Primary Colors. The masks come in a 24/Pack so we will have enough for a while.
Now that the weather is getting colder my students are having a hard time keeping their masks on, when we are outside, due to the coats, hats, and scarves they are wearing. The Black Face Mask Extender (5 pack) will keep the masks on their face, while wearing all their outdoor gear. If they don't like the extender, then the black cliq-It Mask Lanyard will keep them from losing the mask too.
We try to go outside as much as possible and the Sustainable Earth All-Purpose Cleaner, and Refill is really needed to keep the outdoor equipment sanitized, and it can also be used to sanitize the toys and materials we have in the classroom.
